A couple of weeks ago we said goodbye 👋 to the last of our Summer '24 interns, and what a pleasure it's been. Harshitha Santosh, Aashini Talati, James Morris and Hafsa Bibi— you were fantastic.
It's always exciting having fresh young talent in the studio and this year was no exception. This group of young designers threw themselves right in at the deep end and contributed to live projects. There's no fobbing off on fake briefs here. This is real life experience.
With design education still not fully preparing students for the real world, offering paid internships is the least agencies can do to support the next generation of talent. We are a registered 'Living Wage Employer' and so pay everyone who comes through our door at least the amount they need to get by in the world — interns being no exception. Besides being the right thing to do financially, we also hope that it helps people who are only just entering the industry feel valued, because feeling valued breeds confidence and everyone needs confidence to bring their whole selves and do their best work.
We learned so much from this group. In particular it was fascinating to talk about the state of design in Indian with Aashini — she wrote us a blog post all about it https://lnkd.in/ePNT4_xS
If anyone is on the lookout for juniors with a lot of promise, start here!
You can find stories about each of them on our blog

And for anyone interested in being part of next years intake, get in touch on jobs@threetenseven.co. You don't need to have gone to Uni or done a foundation. All you need is to show us your enthusiasm and passion for creativity, send us some work and add a cover note explaining why you'd like the opportunity.
We believe in promoting inclusion and diversity and in helping combat systemic racism, sexism, and other forms of oppression, which means we’re very open-minded about the type of people we work with. If you are excited about this opportunity but don’t feel 'qualified', just get in touch anyway as you never know where it may lead.
